Item Details

A 19th century French walnut centre table. The dished circular top to this pretty table has a neat raised edge and is secured in place when down by the original wooden peg beneath. The top may be placed into the upright position by removing the peg when not in use if so desired. It has developed a deep warm honey colour together with a richly patinated surface over the past century and more.
The top sits above the most evocative shapely stem raised upon solid walnut triform base. Solid walnut tilt top occasional centre table. France circa 1880.
