Item Details

A fine example of an original wirework plant stand from the mid 19th century. Quite a rarity to find a plant stand of this design presented in such superb condition. The top is in original white paint and is formed from a series of narrow wires intricately woven together to form a wide container for holding plants and pots. The decorative wirework base is sturdy with no damage and stands in good stable condition together with its original green painted surface. Wirework plant stand. England circa 1850.
