Late 19th century coastal landscape, oil on canvas, in a contemporary frame. Scribed verso 'The coast near Dovercourt' and attributed to Charles Smith. Depicting a flock of birds and sand dunes under an atmospheric sky. Later restoration as pictured but does not detract from this lovely work.
