An particularly nice late 19th-century French bistro table.

The piece features a circular sheet metal top mounted on an unusual tip-top (tilt-top) mechanism, allowing the surface to tilt vertically for storage. It is supported by a slender column resting on a decorative cast iron tripod base. The entire table retains a heavily weathered patina with distinct remnants of its original paint.
