1950’s Swedish crows foot lamp in red and brass by EWA


This is a really stylish adjustable desk lamp in brass and a textured red finish. This textured finish is original and is in great vintage condition. Most sellers are describing it as by Louis Kalff for Phillips but one Dutch dealer thinks it may be by a lesser known Dutch maker and designer so we can’t be 100% certain as it’s not marked for Phillips ( but their lamps are rarely or if ever labelled ). We’ve now been told it’s Swedish and by a company called EWA and is also found in a cream finish.


Condition
We’ve had it fully re-wired to current UK standards and it’s been PAT tested so it’s ready to be used safely.


The shade can be moved as it’s on a ball fitting so the height will vary depending on how it’s set but it’s around 35cms.


The white interior of the shade and all the red finish is in fantastic condition and there are no obvious dints.
