1960’s Danish teak dining table by Randers Mobelfabrik

A beautifully made teak extending dining table which can be dismantled when not in use or for ease of moving as the legs just bolt into place. It seats 4 when un-extended and 6 very comfortably when fully extended. Randers Mobelfabrik were a small quality maker who used a number of designers such as Kurt Ostervig in the 1960’s. It has lovely simple lines and is a cut above similar Danish tables with pull out extension leaves.

We bought it from the family of the original owners along with a later Danish table by Gudme and 10 Moller teak dining chairs which are currently being re-corded as the seats were worn. The set of chairs in the photos is from a different source and have been recently listed also.

100cms x 100cms unextended each leaf adds 48cms taking it to 196cms x 100cms . Height 72,5cms.

Condition
Cleaned and oiled with some very minor knocks to the veneers on the edges if you look very closely. See photos as they show anything obvious. The leaves are a good match in colour for the top which is not always the case after 60 years of fading.
