Brita Nordencreutz oil painting nude with flowers.


Brita Nordencreutz ( 1899-1982 ) was a well known and fairly prolific Swedish artist. Her works regularly come up for sale in auction both in Sweden and occasionally in the UK.


She seems to have regularly painted flowers as well as the odd female nude, but rarely together as in this fairly large joyous colourful painting.


Oil on canvas. Signed and dated. We think it’s 1945, and is similar in style to a work sold in late 2023 in the UK dated 44.
