Danish 2 seat rosewood Capella sofa by Illum Wikkelso.
The rosewood frame has been cleaned and polished. New foam cushions have been made to meet fire standards and they have been covered in a vibrant floral velvet from Harlequin. The lovely deep greens and reds sit well with the rich grain on the rosewood.
The Capella range was designed circa 1960 and made by Eilersen in the 1960’s in teak, light oak or rosewood. It’s designed to come to pieces for easy transport and with the right components you can create armchairs, 2, 3 and even 4 seat sofas.

Good, new upholstery and foam to meet Uk domestic fire regulations. Rosewood frame in good vintage condition and has been cleaned.
Alternative zipped cushions can be made in your own choice of fabric if you prefer. 3.5 meters of fabric and the cost of the upholstery work extra.
