Danish teak boomerang desk by Peter Lovig Nielsen


These iconic desks rarely come up for sale. The last one we had was in 2016. The design itself dates to the late 1950’s, but this is a late example as it’s stamped 1971 to the underside. It’s probably the best known design by Lovig Nielsen. Amazingly we managed to source one of his coffee tables recently which we will be listing.


An amazing shape, beautifully made this will have been an expensive buy when new and certainly makes a real statement. The photos show all the features such as the bookshelf and small mirrored drinks cabinet to the back.


149cms at widest, 88cms at deepest, surface height 72cms


Condition
Cleaned and oiled with no obvious marks or scratches. As with all vintage furniture you must expect to find some small signs of wear if you look very closely.
