Finn Juhl Bwana chair in black leather by France and Son.


We’re really pleased to have one of Finn Juhl’s iconic Bwana chairs for sale as they don’t grow on trees ! They rarely come up for sale in the UK.


It not only looks great but it’s really comfortable. It was designed in 1962 and is labelled as you’d expect for France and Son so will have been produced in around 1962-1966.


Condition
We’ve cleaned and oiled the teak frame and buffed up the original black leather. The frame is looking really nice with no obvious marks or damage. There is one slight blemish to the surface of the leather on one arm (see photo). The sprung seat base has had a new leather and cloth covering as this was looking a little tired. The back leather panel has some mottled discoloration (see photo)
