French 1970’s wired glass conical lamp 40cms


Fully re-wired to current UK standards. This one came with a circular tapering that we’re also listing which is shown in one of the photos . They turn up occasionally in the UK and the consensus online is that they were made in France in the 1970’s. The chrome feet certainly are from the late 60’s or 70’s. They look great when lit but are equally nice when not.


It must have take quite a lot of work to produce them so they won’t have been cheap when new. The few that we found online were mainly smaller at 26cms although we did see a giant one of over 2 metres on sale in Italy ( described as Italian ! ). As you’ll see we also have a large one that’s 159cms.


Condition
It takes one small bayonet bulb. Each glass piece is roughly finished which adds to the sparkle. The metal ball feet are a little marked but could easily be painted.
