Harold Wood large oil painting “The 3 Generals ” 1963


Harold Wood ( 1918-2014 ) was known as ”The painter of the Arab World” as he painted a large number of works for King Abdul Aziz of Saudi Arabia and the Sultan of Oman. This striking painting has labels for the collection of Wolf Mankowitz ( 1924-1998 ) who was a famous writer and playwright in the 1960’s and 1970’s.
