Heavy large Gustavsberg ceramic plaque 1960’s/70’s


Unlike most Gustavsberg pieces there is no designers mark and we couldn’t find this design anywhere online. Ceramic plaques were a Swedish speciality in the 60’s and 70’s with makers large small and large coming up with an array of designs. Gustavsberg were the largest and best known maker using designers Stig Lindberg and Lisa Larson as well as some lesser known names.


Condition


This one has a deep 3 dimensional design of a bowl of fruit. Small knock to the glaze in a couple of places if you look very closely.


It’s larger than most at 37cms x 33.5cms, and over 4 kgs in weight.
