Imposing large Regency mahogany secretaire chest on paw feet


The large paw feet on this beautiful chest of drawers add that extra dimension which you won’t see on many other pieces. The brass lions ring handles, the twist columns and the fitted secretaire drawer are all great features but these you’ll see on other top quality pieces from the time. These all put this piece at date of around 1820-1830 possibly by a Scottish maker.

Dimensions: 144cms wide, 127.5cms high, 59cms deep plus depth of columns and paw feet.


Condition
It had some small mahogany veneer losses when we bought it and some marks to the top. The veneers have been carefully replaced and the top re-polished. Now in lovely clean condition.
