Large Danish 1960’s teak double chest of drawers


Really nice quality it’s larger than some sideboards. We couldn’t find another of this design online when we made a Google image search, so it must be by a small maker. A couple of steps up from standard double chests that you’ll see.


The metal crossbars are a really unusual feature. The circular handles are typical of Danish Mid-Century pieces but different from those used on other Danish chests.


As you’ll all it has is a branded Danish Furniture Control stamp to the reverse.


Condition


It was a little grubby when it arrived with no really obvious marks, so all it needed was a light clean and oil. There are no marks or obvious scratches. All the drawers work well. As with all vintage furniture you must expect to see some minor signs of use if you look very closely.
