Late 1950’s Danish armchair in green linen.


This lovely chair still had its original fabric on it and after over 50 years of heavy use it was needing to be replaced as you can imagine!


Designer unknown, however there were a lot of small furniture manufacturers in Denmark around the Mid 20th Century making quality pieces such as this. Its good proportions and heavy with a teak base and arm caps.


Condition
We had the frame re-polished and our upholsterer then completely refurbished and replaced the upholstery. We chose to go with 2 fabrics, which was a fashionable look at the time and works really well on such chairs.
