Late 19th century oil portrait of young man in fancy dress.


Well painted and an interesting subject by an unknown artist we liked the strong image and the decorative fancy dress costume.


Fairly recently reframed by previous owner who has attributed the painting to Evelyn Adshead c 1893 which is rather strange as she isn’t a particularly known artist !
