Louis Drimmer Chinese porcelain lamp with bronze mounts

Louis Drimmer started making high end decorative lamps in 1945. He seems to have had ceramic bases made in France, but seems also to have imported some that he had made in China. This one has top quality bronze mounts presumably added in France. The shade is a signature Drimmer one which is labelled. The porcelain may have predated the lamp itself.

The fitting is on a turned wood base which sits perfectly into the bronze mount, so it was easy to have it fully rewired with new twist cord wiring and new brass fitting. It’s PAT tested to current UK standards so it’s ready to be used.
