Matched pair of Swedish oak bedsides with leather handles


Bought separately for us in Sweden a year apart so although identical in manufacture they have faded differently , so aren’t an exact pair . A lovely design we’ve had once before with their smart brown leather tab handles . The model name is Charmant and they were designed by the little known Sigurd Goransson . One is labelled for Froseke who specialised in hall mirrors with matching small chests which were popular in Sweden in the 1960’s which is why they always turn up separately . Today they make great bedside chests or lamp tables .


Dating to the late 1960’s they’re nicely made . The bases are removable as is often the case with Scandinavian pieces of this age.


Condition
Both in good vintage condition with some light marks and minor knocks as per the photos . They are slightly different in colour as they came separately so will have faded differently .
