Pair Rorstrand chamotte candleholders Gunnar Nylund


You either love or hate the 1940’s/50’s chunky designs that followed Art Deco like these tealight holders. White stoneware bodies with an amber coloured finish. Gunnar Nylund was a very succesful Swedish ceramic designer mainly known for his work as Artistic Director at Rorstrand, but he also worked in Denmark.


His chamotte bulbous vases with a spiky finish are particularly popular today.

14cms diameter, 6.5cms height, just over 2kgs in weight together


Condition
In good vintage condition with one small rim chip to one of the bases if you look closely. This has been taken into account in our pricing.
