Poul Cadovius aluminium flower plant lamp for Hans Folsgaard 1968


It was designed in 1968 by Poul Cadovius who is best known for his superb Danish wall systems. This was designed for the small lighting company run by Hans Folsgaard which produced some now well known designs like this in the 1960’s and early 1970’s. This design was recently re-introduced and costs quite a bit more than we’re asking for this original vintage one. It retains its FB label for Folsgaard Belysning ( Lighting ).


It's 46cms in diameter and around 50 cms in height ( plus cable ).


Condition
Rewired to current UK standards and PAT tested this amazing lamp produces a lovely ambient light which emphasises any flowers or plants that are placed inside.


As with all vintage pieces you have to expect some minor signs of wear after some 50 years of use, but it is in good vintage condition with minor knocks and some scratches.
