Danish leather wing armchair in brown on teak legs.


Good quality 1960’s Danish leather wing chair. It retains it’s original 1960’s Danish Furniture Control as well as the remains of a makers label. We see quite a few similar chairs but most are on plain stained wood legs so this design with a teak base is a step up in quality. We think these Danish wing chairs offer great value compared with standard fabric Parker Knoll chairs which are around £1000 new and are far better made. The leather on 1960’s and 70’s Danish upholstered furniture is really great.


Really comfortable for those looking for a high backed armchair with good back support .

Condition
We’ve re-webbed the seat base, it was loose and sagging as often found after over 50 years of use. We’ve given the leather a light clean and then conditioned with some leather balm and it’s looking great with a few scuffs to the back and the usual wear to the arms with darker patina. There is some darker colouring on the back top cushion where it has creased. See photos for condition of the leather. The teak base is in good clean vintage condition.
