Rarely seen Troeds teak small sideboard model Lyon


We last had this model in 2017 and have been looking to buy another ever since as sideboards like this that are under 150cms are extremely hard to find. Most people back in the day bought longer sideboards with the smallest standard British ones being 5ft ( 152.5cms ). It’s cut out handles are really stylish and it still looks modern today which is a great sign of a good design.


It was designed by Nils Jonsson who designed the bulk of Troeds pieces in the 1960’s. Troeds are mainly known for their ultra long sideboards and practical dining tables all of which are really well made as you’d expect from a good Scandinavian maker in the 1960’s.


Designed for people with small apartments so the legs unscrew for those who have awkward doorways/staircases. 


Condition
Cleaned and oiled with no obvious marks or scratches. As with all vintage pieces you must expect to see some minor signs of wear if you look very closely.
