Ronald Ronaldson oil painting abstract landscape


Ronald Ronaldson (1919-2015) was born in Newcastle upon Tyne but lived most of his life in Suffolk. He worked as a civil servant for many years , only taking up art in the 1940’s. We fell in love with this and another of his abstract works which we’re selling separately. He mainly sold at exhibitions at The Chappel Galleries where this work was probably bought. Signed on the front and titled Grey and brown landscape on the reverse. Oil on canvas.
