Scarce set of 5 Holmegaard Palet series glass nesting bowls by Michael Bang


The Palet range came in a number of colours and was made from 1968 to 1976. Usually these lovely bowls come singly but here we have a set of 5 that sit neatly inside each other when not in use. The smallest bowl is the smallest in the series but they did make some larger bowls which turn up occasionally. All the pieces were hand blown into moulds which must have been quite expensive when using cased glass. The white base has to covered externally in a coloured glass. The main colours you see are orange, yellow, teal blue, and jade green ( this set ), but you’ll also see rarer colours such as caramel, black and some others too.


Condition
All in great vintage condition with no chips or cracks .We bought quite a lot of it when buying furniture in Denmark and are now putting it up for sale .


Smallest to largest they’re 6.5cms, 10cms, 13cms, 16cms and 18.5cms in diameter. Heights are 3cms, 5.5cms, 8cms, 9cms, and 11.5cms.
