Stylish 1960’s Scandinavian teak side table possibly by Ib Kofod Larsen


The lovely drawer handle is very similar to one that Ib Kofod Larsen designed for a desk that was made by Seffle of Sweden, but the construction isn’t.


He designed for a number of Danish, Swedish and American companies as well as for G Plan and some of his chair designs for different makers have very similar features. We haven’t found another of these pieces online and it isn’t stamped or marked but it is beautifully made with solid teak drawer fronts and really nice dovetails. The castors look to be late 1960’s or early 70’s but could be a later addition.


Condition
It’s been fully cleaned and oiled and is looking really good.
