Unusual 1960’s Danish teak nest of tables by Aksel Kjersgaard of Odder.


Not stamped but the table design is a known model that was possibly designed by Kai Kristiansen who designed a number of pieces for this quality maker in the 1960’s. You’ll find the smaller “cube” table in teak and rosewood, sometimes a nesting version, but we’ve never come across a tiled one before.


The larger double “cube” table is 96cms wide, 47.5cms deep and 47.5cms high.


Condition


They’ve been given a light clean as there were a few minor marks after some 50 years of use. The tiles are in good vintage condition with no obvious chips or cracks.
