Unusual Danish 1960’s light oak single bed base


This lovely well made bed base fitted with 2 storage drawers would be great for a small bedroom. The internal measurement is 200cms x 80cms so will take a standard small single British mattress which is 2ft 6″ wide ( just over 76cms width ). It’s really stylish with nice detailing to the handles and exposed dovetailing throughout. It stands on an inset base giving it a floating appearance.


Not a type or design we’ve seen before.


Condition
The oak has been cleaned and is looking good with no obvious damage or marks. As with all vintage pieces you do have to expect to see some minor signs of wear if you look very closely.
