Unusually small late Regency mahogany chest c 1830


Over the years we’ve seen plenty of chests of this style, but most are large bedroom chests with 4 or more drawers. This lovely 2 drawer chest is not only a lot smaller, but it has nice features like the bowed form with the rounded corners, the twist columns and turned feet. The brass lions head ring handles are original and much smarter than the standard wood knob handles that you see on so many later Victorian chests.


Will look great in a living room or a small bedroom.
