MATCHING PAIR OF VINTAGE BEDSIDE TABLES/NIGHTSTANDS


Angular geometric forms cast a stylish silhouette very reminiscent of the modernist/art deco period.


The finish is highly decorative and unusual, with some form of veneer, possibly a black palm or rare tropical hardwood, encased in a thick layer of resin/lucite material laid onto wooden carcasses with stained wooden legs.


Each one has two drawers with angled modernist-shaped stained wooden handles.


They appear to be unsigned, but by repute, they are American in origin and probably date to the late 20th century period, possibly the 1980s.


They are in good vintage condition throughout. They are free from any significant damage. The drawers run smoothly as they should. There is cosmetic wear throughout consistent with age, including scratches, scuffs, etc.


Each one measures approximately 48cm wide x 43cm deep x 66cm high.
