VINTAGE CAMBRIDGE UNIVERSITY ROWING ICE BOX


A pine crate lined with a metal liner which would have originally been used as an ice box/ cooler to keep drinks cool for the rowing team.


With original paint in the signature Cambridge Rowing blue and with original sign written lettering ‘Cambridge Coach’ in black as well as ‘This Way Up’ in red. Both in original vintage font.


Original hardware and carry handles.


Probably dating from the early 20th century period, circa 1920s-1930s.


It is in very good vintage condition with cosmetic wear commensurate with age and use. The wooden box is sound and sturdy and is still usable.
