Renaras tapestry bars are premium, handmade hardware for hanging anything flat — a Japanese silk obi, a kakejiku scroll, a tenugui cloth, a vintage poster, a botanical print, a child's painting, a football scarf made into something to hang on a wall. The mechanism is simple: two solid hardwood bars, one for the top edge and one for the bottom, joined by a leather cord. The textile sits between them, held flat by gentle, even pressure across the full width — no nails, no clips, no piercing of the fabric, no adhesive.


Each pair is handmade in solid hardwood and finished with a leather hanging cord. The slender profile of the bar makes itself quiet, so the eye travels directly to whatever it holds rather than the hardware. Available in two finishes — natural maple and tea-stained dark hardwood. Sized to suit anything from small artwork to wide textiles.
