https://www.decorativecollective.com/dealers/renarasOgi. Suehiro — fortune opening. The folding fan of Japanese court culture, tea ceremony and Noh theatre — opening here in cascading formation across cream silk.
Against a soft cream silk ground — the colour of restraint, of considered elegance — ogi folding fans unfurl in cascading formation, lavishly embroidered in burnished gold, persimmon orange and deep azure blue. Each fan opens to reveal intricate inner worlds of kiku chrysanthemums and stylised pine, bound in the overlapping rhythm only a Nishijin master weaver could sustain. The cream gives the composition its discretion. The gold gives it its harmony.
A pillow for navy, forest green, warm ivory — quiet beauty for ordinary moments, gathered around a shared table.
Seamless envelope closure. No metal touches the visible silk.
