Item Description
A beautiful antique Kurdish rug, handwoven circa 1910. The design features a single terracotta medallion on a deep indigo field and similar border. As with many Kurdish rugs, the dyes are particularly good and include a lovely gold and sky blue. Note the four charming figures on horse (?) back in each corner
Size: 2.06m x 1.38m (6ft 9in x 4ft 6in)
This rug is in good condition with light, age related wear. The fringes and selvedges are original and secure and it has been professionally cleaned.
