Item Description
A fabulous antique Kurdish rug, woven circa 1890 with a geometrical medallion on a terracotta field and hook border. There’s so much I love - the quality of the wool, the great dyes and the random design (including a couple of camels!). A great example of tribal art.
Size: 2.20m x 1.33m (7ft 3in x 4ft 4in)
This rug is in good overall condition with light, age related wear. A couple of very small repairs, professionally done and barely noticeable (see photos). Fringes and selvedges are secure and it has been professionally cleaned.
