A beautiful little vintage Hamadan rug, handwoven circa 1940 with an all over Herati design on a pinky red field and similar border. Finely woven with lovely secondary colours of pink and light blue.
Size: 1.50m x 0.84m (4ft 11in x 2ft 9in)
This rug is in good condition with light, age related wear, slightly heavier on one edge (see photos). Fringes and selvedges are secure and it has been professionally cleaned.
