A lovely vintage Kashan rug, hand woven circa 1940. The rug features a classic Kashan design of a singular medallion on an indigo field of interconnected flowers and vines surrounded by a rich red border. Finely woven with lovely secondary colours
Size: 2.04m x 1.30m (6ft 8in x 3ft)
This rug has light, age related wear, slightly heavier in one small spot (see photos). Fringes and selvedges are secure and it has been professionally cleaned.
