An early 19th-century Dutch Delft plate decorated with an abundant bush of oversized blue and yellow flowers surrounded by green and red foliage. The lip features stylised floral patterns and leaves finished by a blue border line.


The brushwork is expressive, alternating broad patches of colour with fine linear details in a vibrant polychrome palette. A joyful Delft country plate.
