A 1970 lithograph on paper by Italian sculptor Marino Marini (1901-1980), known for his celebrated work around the equestrian figure. The composition features a bold red background, with dark green forms that evoke the body and legs of a horse, animated by expressive black brushstrokes—echoing Marini’s sculptural language. Freer shapes in pink and light green drift across the composition, while fine red and green lines create a dynamic tension against the solid fields of colour. Mounted in a black-stained wood frame with an off-white mount.
