A 19th-century Moroccan pottery jobbana bowl from Fez, c. 1830, with an elegant deep, upright form, traditionally used to store butter. It is decorated with floral motifs in mihrab shapes, surrounded by further patterned bands along the edge in a vibrant palette of green, blue and yellow on a cream engobe. A rare and textured piece, combining bright decoration with a graceful shape.
