An 18th-century French faience plate from Moustiers, decorated in an elegant camaïeu of ochres. It features a figure in the Grotesques style, surrounded by oversized bushes. The delicately shaped edge is highlighted by orange lines, while the lip is adorned with flowering branches and further foliage. The lively, refined brushwork animates the sprawling decoration and lends the figure a distinctive expressive posture. A refined plate with a decor characteristic of Moustiers, marked to the underside.
