Item Details

An 18th-century pair of wood candlesticks from Northern Italy, converted to table lamps. The elegant, tall form is adorned with acanthus leaves and gadrooned ornament, standing on fluted bases raised on three gilt lion’s paws. The tops are fitted with metal collars, shaped and embossed with a leaf pattern. They feature a refined white and gold palette, possibly a 19th-century addition.
