An 18th-century Spanish albarello jar from Catalonia, decorated with a scrolled label bearing elegant black lettering, framed by lush blue and white floral and foliate motifs. It showcases the traditional albarello form, with a tall cylindrical body, slight waist, and broad rim, originally intended for the storage of apothecary goods. Contrasting the ornate script with the loose, flowing patterns of the decoration, this rare jar combines utilitarian history and decorative appeal.
