A wonderful 1930s portrait of a striking young man, oil on artist's board. Sensitively observed in a beautifully muted palette of greens, blues and greys complimented by the auburn haired sitter, possibly a ballet dancer at rest.  A very evocative portrait reminiscent of the Bloomsbury Group. 


 

In its original blue frame with old 'wibbly' glass.
