A beautifully proportioned Italian brass-framed mirror dating from the 1950s, with an elongated, waisted form and its original glass plate intact.

A particularly elegant example, with a slender brass frame and gently drawn-in sides giving the mirror its distinctive sculptural shape. Its smaller proportions are less commonly found and particularly desirable.

The original glass and brass frame show signs of age, with areas of foxing and oxidation that give the piece an attractive, time-worn character and are entirely in keeping with its 1950s origins.
