An antique French slipper chair with a sprung seat, traditional horsehair upholstery and a separate roll headrest. Raised on ebonised legs with castors, it has elegant proportions and a comfortable low seat.


The chair is in very good condition and has been fully restored and reupholstered with antique hemp and linen textiles, pieced together into a simple patchwork of natural tones and textures.
