An abstract figurative work by British artist Morris Kestleman (1905 - 1998), in gouache on paper, signed by the artist.  This work sits between figuration and abstraction, with a focus on line, tone, and spatial clarity.  Presented in a hand-painted and waxed frame, with museum glazing.


Kestleman was associated with the Euston Road School and later taught at the Central School of Art in London. He exhibited at venues including the Royal Academy and the London Group, and his work is held in public collections such as the Tate.
