Item Details

An original pencil and ink drawing on paper by Alfred Reth (1884 - 1966), one of the pioneering figures of Parisian Cubism and later European Abstraction. Created in 1942, the composition balances abstraction and figuration, reflecting Reth's lifelong exploration of form and harmony.  Signed and dated by the artist, the drawing represents a period in Reth's career, following his early involvement with the Cubist movement.


Presented in a bespoke hand-painted frame and glazed to museum conservation standards.
