Designed by Ebert Wels in the 1960s, this folding lounge chair is a well-known example of post-war Scandinavian-inspired design. Crafted in solid teak with an original woven-cord seat and back, it combines sculptural form with practical functionality.


Often compared to the folding chair designs of Hans J. Wegner, Wels' interpretation has become a sought-after mid-century classic in its own right.  This piece is in very good vintage condition with a rich patina to the teak and only minor age-related wear consistent with light use.
