Two sculptural mid-century Dogon iron figures from Mali, now mounted on stands for display. Depicting stylised human forms, they are characterised by elongated proportions and a direct, expressive simplicity. Originally forged by Dogon blacksmiths, such figures held ritual or protective significance within their cultural context. Hand-worked in iron, each piece shows subtle variation and an aged patina.


In very good vintage condition, and priced individually.
